Jollibee Mini Managers Camp 2018
Every summer I would enroll my son to a summer activity to keep him busy while having fun and to have a sociable experience so this year I tried Jollibee's workshop for kids called "Mini Managers Camp" since we had our McDonald's kiddie crew last year. It was a six day workshop composed of fun and learnings, exposure to Jollibee values, store practices, story telling, drawing, arts and crafts, burger making, dancing and so much more. The camp aims to impart to kid participants the importance of hard work and good values like leadership, responsibility and good manners through various fun learning activities.
Jollibee Mini Manager Camp is open to kids 4 to 12 years old. the fee is 650 pesos which includes uniform, meals for six days and activity material. They also received a Jollibee collectibles during graduation day (tumbler, plate, spoon and fork)
On day one, they had an opportunity to introduce themselves in the class. They also had an orientation, store tour which was composed of visiting the kitchen, counter, stock room office, and employees room. They also made a Jollibee poster and presented it in the group.
Day 2 was customer greeting, they were assigned to stand by the entrance door and greet the customers coming in. They also had an opportunity to help the cashier
Day three they had arts and crafts where they made an airplane. They also learned the magic words (please and thank you).
Day four, they distributed smileys (happy and sad) to customers and ask them about their experience at Jollibee. They ask them to drop it to the designated bucket. As expected, lots of customers picked the happy smiley. Ha ha. They also made some crafts, putting the family picture on a frame using a popsicle sticks.
Day five is practicing their dancing skills, this will be performed on their graduation day. They also had burger making and of course... brought home the burger they made!!!
Last Day is the Graduation Day. There were lots of activities. They were also given awards highlighting their strengths like being Confident, Participative, Energetic, Neat, Creative, Jolly, etc.. They also received certificates of participation.
They did their dance number and of course the most awaited moment by the kids was the appearance of Jollibee Mascots.
So I asked my son which workshop did he enjoyed more and he said Jollibee. Maybe because there were more activities? And also I have to say the food was better in Jollibee since there was more variety, it was different everyday. I have to commend the Staff assigned in this workshop. They are super accommodating, approachable and friendly. Great Work!!
Anyway, good job to these fast food chains for having these affordable summer workshop activities which the kids definitely enjoy and learn a lot from.
For sure we are signing up again next year!!!
