Mitra's Ranch Visit

Owned by the family of the late House Speaker Ramon "Monching" V. Mitra Jr. is a popular and most frequently visited tourist spot in the city of Puerto Princesa.


Rancho Sta. Monica or Mitra's Ranch/Rancho ni Mitra as the locals call it, is located in Sta. Monica Heights Puerto Princesa City. This place is very easy to locate  because it is very popular.




The first time I visited this place was year 2000 yet the charm of the place is still there and it doesn't seem to fade. This is the place where you can go when you just feel like having your alone time whether you want to relax, chill or unwind. Just being in this place makes you want to just simply enjoy the beauty of the scenery and freshness of the air.


The place also has this serene atmosphere in it that will give you a different commune with with nature. You can experience a farm life with a tranquil and relaxing view of green fields, cows and horses. 


There's are a lot of benches and table scattered around the ranch where guests can just relax or have picnics if they want to.
There are other activities here too like zipline, trampoline and horse back-riding.

 Entrance Fee is 20 pesos

 How to get there:

 1. You can hire a tricycle or 
2. Ride a multicab which has a sign board "Irawan" at Rizal Avenue and tell the driver to drop you off the intersection going to Bakers Hill/ Mitra's Ranch. From the intersection, ride a tricycle going to Mitra's Ranch.
