Vietnamese Village Dine - In

Image
After a walk at Mitra's Ranch we decided to go to Vietnamese Village for our lunch. Lunch at Viet Ville was good. This is like a taste of Vietnam in the Philippines. This place used to be a piece of land where Vietnamese refugees settled in 1970's. They came to the Philippines by boat during the Vietnam - American war seeking a place to live peacefully.  Viet Ville,  a small community has stood as a symbol of local hospitality and tolerance. It has become a tourist attraction, providing a taste of Vietnamese culture and French - Vietnamese cuisine to both local and foreign visitors. Today, there's just a small population of Vietnamese family living in the village. Some of them left a long time ago, some migrated to USA, Canada, Australia, and Europe. Yet some found their new home still in Puerto Princesa, Palawan but not inside Viet Ville. Having their own business around the town.  The restaurant has a homey feeling and cool ambiance with the hand - made...

Dubai Miracle Garden

Image
Me and My Husband visited Dubai Miracle garden last May 12, 2018, the last day before it closes this season. The garden operates from October to April, it remains closed from May to September due to high temperature. We were just lucky that it was still open when we were there due to high public demands. It was very hot that time and some the flowers are starting to wither though most of them are still pretty beautiful and perfect for Instagram. This place is one of the greenest attractions in UAE. The garden spreads over 72, 000 Square meters, making it the worlds largest natural flower garden. Despite the very hot weather, we had a great time and would recommend anyone to visit this magnificent place The place is quite far from the city center so going there isn't easy as anywhere else in Dubai. But I tell you it's really worth the visit. Promise!!! The cheapest way to get here is to ride a public transportation bus route no. 105 from Mall of Emirates (MOE)....
